Set up service categories and locations for precise lead matching.
Categories and locations determine which members receive which leads. Set them up correctly for accurate lead distribution.
Service categories
Categories represent the types of services members provide:
- Plumbing → Emergency Repairs, Installations, Drain Cleaning
- Legal → Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal Defense
- Home Services → Roofing, HVAC, Electrical
Service locations
Locations define where members can serve customers:
- Cities (Los Angeles, San Diego)
- States (California, Texas)
- Zip codes (90210, 10001)
- Radius from address (25 miles from office)
How matching works
When a lead comes in, LeadRoute matches it to members based on:
- Lead's service category matches member's categories
- Lead's location matches member's service area
- Distribution mode determines final assignment
Setting up categories
- Go to Directory Settings → Categories
- Add your main categories
- Add subcategories if needed
- Members select their categories during registration
